All prices listed with VAT included.

Reservation

Upon receipt of your reservation by phone, a confirmation will be sent by email or letter. Please review all information and in contact us in the event you may have questions or notice an error. You can reach us by phone to +46 370 827 85 between 08.00 and 22.00 on days when the park is open. During off-season, we are available between 08.00 and 16.00 on weekdays at +46 370 827 00. The confirmation of your reservation needs to be brought to check-in and available upon request.

Change of reservation

You may change your reservation free of charge to another date during the same season until 48 hours before your arrival time at 15.00.

Cancellation

Cancellation of accommodation can be made with full refund up to one week before the visit with cancellation protection. The cancellation insurance fee is non-refundable. Cancellation of accommodation can be made with full refund up to one month before the visit without cancellation insurance. If you cancel later than this or if you do not show up, no refund will be provided for the charged amount. Cancellation insurance costs 245 SEK per accommodation unit.

If you have cancellation insurance and need to cancel due to a medical condition less than one week before arrival, you can do so by presenting a medical certificate and receive a full refund.

Change of admission tickets

You may change admission tickets up until 24 hours prior to your visit. Change can only be made until another date during the same season.

Cancellation of admission tickets

You may cancel your admission tickets up until 48 hours prior to your visit with full refund. Cancellation insurance is not needed.

Payment

You will be charged for your booking even if not used and that goes for both admission tickets and accommodations. The price for your stay will be charged based on the method of payment you have chosen at the time of making the reservation.

Pets

Pets are only allowed in select accommodations and on the campsite.

Check-in/Check-out
We have two receptions, Big Bengt reception och the Campsite reception. Which of them you will use depends on where you will stay. Check-in for all accommodations is between 3pm-8pm. For late check-in, please contact us on +46(0)370-827 85.

Check-out for all accommodations is 11.00.

Extend your stay

If you have purchased one-day admission tickets and would like to upgrade to two-day admission tickets you may do so at the online booking site, or by bringing your receipt to the cashier at the main entrance and pay the middle difference for an upgrade. Please note that this is subject to availability. If you wish to extend your stay in our accommodations we cannot guarantee that your specific choice of accommodations or location is available. Conversely, if you choose to stay longer it may mean a relocation or change to another type of accommodations.

Damages
Upon voluntary destruction (such as damage of furnishing, smoking indoors or accommodate pets were not allowed), or involuntary destruction of the room/cabin (such as bedwetting) or other public spaces, High Chaparral will charge the guests an administrative cost at 200 SEK.

Private property
High Chaparral has no responsibility for property stored in the room or cabin.

High Chaparral’s right to deny accommodation
Guests sleep and rest all hours of the day and night. It’s important to show consideration to other guests. Loud talking, screaming and running close to other guests’ accommodations is not accepted. After 23.00 it must be quiet in all accommodations. On account of our staff and other guest’s safety and comfort we reserve the right to deny or evict offensive guests.

Example of grounds for eviction/ deny may include but is not limited to:

  • Your behavior creates anxiety among the other guests.
  • You do not respect and adhere to notifications and instructions made by the staff of High Chaparral.
  • Payment cannot be made in full.

 

Force Majeure
Fire, explosion, war, strike or similar state of crisis, other circumstances outside High Chaparral’s control entitle High Chaparral to lift the conditions of the contract without any obligation to pay compensation.

Complaints and questions about compensation

In order for compensation to be considered our staff must have been contacted regarding the issue during your stay. If we have not been given the chance to correct what may be wrong, compensation is not justified.

You complaint needs to be sent to boende@highchaparral.se no later than one month after your visit. In the event your matter is related to damages to vehicles, theft or lost or damaged property we refer you to your insurance company. For any issues outside of our control we reserve the right to change to similar accommodations.

Confederate flag

The confederate flag may symbolize a position against the abolishment of slavery and for racism. At the samt time the flag may be symbolic for the American south. As they are troublesome, with different interpretations, confederate flags are not allowed at High Chaparral.
