Do you want to work as an actor or showman in the Wild West this summer? Then you should apply for one of the positions we need at High Chaparral.

High Chaparral goes on tour with the Stone Brothers. It will be a fast-paced and fun performance with lots of humor and warmth for children between 6-9 years.

It's finally time for the first episode of the High Chaparral Christmas Calendar - Peggy Ray.

In 24 episodes, we will follow orphan Peggy Ray and the shady Humperdinck brothers on their adventures in the Wild West.

On Friday, November 27, we set up the first Christmas table of the season. You will be welcomed with mulled wine and gingerbread and then enjoy all the homemade delicacies that belong to Christmas. Here in the Wild West, there is of course also American-inspired food on the Christmas table, such as turkey, bbq ribs and chicken wings.
No cowboy or cowgirl should get off this stagecoach hungry or thirsty.

Fridays and Saturdays between approx. 21.30-01 a DJ plays and on Sundays there is a family Christmas table with Santa Claus who brings sweets to all children.

The Christmas buffet is served Friday-Sunday from November 27 to December 20.

Children up to 12 years old eat for SEK 15 per year of age.

This year's Christmas calendar

We are looking for a child actor for this year's Christmas calendar
Do you like to act in front of the camera?
Are you 8-13 years old and a girl? Then maybe you are the one we are looking for!

Last year, for the first time, High Chaparral hosted a Lucky Luke opening with a movie-style advent calendar. The Dalton brothers reflected on their summer adventures from inside their prison cell, with arch-enemy Lucky Luke hot on their heels. This year, things will be a little different.

Christmas Calendar 2015: A lonely, abandoned girl teams up with two drifters. They seem very nice, but it turns out they are bank robbers and the girl soon becomes part of the adventure.
The filming period will be weekdays in the last two weeks of August and
possibly some weekends and maybe a day in September. An advantage is if you can ride and live in the area.

APPLICATION: Write a few lines about yourself and attach a photo.
We need to know your name, address, age, height and interests. We want your application by July 31. We will call those we think are best suited for the role to audition in early August.

Best theme park in Sweden

We are so proud. In the Stora Barnsemesterpriset competition, we came second in the category of the best theme park in the Nordic region. Only beaten by Legoland, it means that we are the best theme park in Sweden, which we are very happy about.
The competition is organized by Barnsemester.se and the jury is the best you can imagine, namely families with children. We thank everyone who voted for us and promise that we will continue to do everything we can to make our visitors feel at home in the Wild West.
