Rebooking of accommodation
You can reschedule your accommodation to another date within the current season free of charge up to 48 hours beforethe stated check-in time (15:00).
Cancellation of accommodation
You may cancel your accommodation with a full refund up to:
1 week before arrival, if you have purchased cancellation protection
1 month before arrival, without cancellation protection
Cancellation protection is non-refundable and costs SEK 299 per accommodation unit. Cancellations made later than the timeframes above, or “no-shows,” are non-refundable.
If you have purchased cancellation protection and need to cancel within one week before arrival due to illness, you may receive a full refund by presenting a medical certificate.

Rebooking of entrance tickets
Entrance tickets can be rebooked up to 24 hours before the ticket becomes valid. Rebooking is only possible to another date within the same season.
For two-day tickets, the 24-hour deadline applies to the first valid day of the ticket.
Cancellation of admission tickets
Admission tickets may be canceled for a full refund up to 48 hours before they become valid. Cancellation protection is not required for this.
For two-day tickets, the 48-hour rule applies to the first valid day.
Extend your stay
If you have purchased one-day tickets and wish to upgrade to two-day tickets, you can do so through the booking page or by visiting the ticket office with your receipt and paying the difference.
Please note that upgrades depend on availability.
If you wish to extend your stay in one of our accommodation units, we cannot guarantee that the same unit or pitch will be available. You may need to move to another unit or location.
Destruction
In the event of intentional damage (such as damage to furnishings, smoking indoors, or keeping animals where they are not allowed) or unintentional damage (such as urine leakage), you will be charged for the cost of the damage plus an administrative fee of SEK 200.
Liability for Property
High Chaparral is not responsible for personal property stored on the premises.
Lost & Found
If you have forgotten something in your accommodation or in the park, please contact us. Items are kept for two weeks. Valuables are then handed in to the nearest police station.
Right to Refuse Accommodation
At High Chaparral, guests rest and sleep at all times of day. To ensure a safe and peaceful environment, we expect all guests to show consideration for others.
Quiet hours begin at 23:00 every day. For safety reasons and the comfort of other guests, we reserve the right to refuse accommodation if:
- Your behavior disturbs or causes concern for other guests
- You fail to follow requests or instructions from High Chaparral staff.
- Full payment for accommodation cannot be made.
Age Limit
Unaccompanied guests must be 18 years or older to stay at the campsite or in the cabins.
During the Midsummer holiday, the age limit is 23 years.
Force Majeure
In the event of strikes, fires, explosions, war, severe delivery disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our control, High Chaparral may terminate the contract without liability for compensation.
Complaints and Compensation
To be eligible for any form of compensation, you must notify our staff during your stay so we have the opportunity to address the issue.
If we have not been given the chance to correct the problem, compensation cannot be granted.
Claims must be submitted to boende@highchaparral.se within one month of your visit. For cases involving vehicle damage, theft, or lost/stolen property, please contact your insurance company.
If necessary due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to move you to equivalent accommodation.
Confederate Flag
The Confederate flag can symbolize resistance to the abolition of slavery and is often associated with racism. While some view it as a nostalgic symbol of the American South, its meaning is highly problematic and divisive. For this reason, Confederate flags are not permitted at High Chaparral.
Terms of Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking, including telephone bookings. Please note that Electron cards are not accepted.
Your accommodation is reserved as soon as the booking is made. However, if payment is not received by the deadline, the reservation will be canceled.
For phone bookings, a booking confirmation will be sent via email. Please check the details carefully. If anything is incorrect, contact us as soon as possible so we can make the necessary changes. You can reach us at 0370-827 85 every day between 08:00–22:00 during the summer season, and at 0370-827 00 on weekdays between 08:00–16:00 during the rest of the year. Please bring your booking confirmation when checking in and present it upon request.

Prices are quoted including VAT.
Payment
You pay for the time that the room or cottage is booked, even if there is no check-in. The price of the stay will be charged to your debit/credit card at the time of booking.
