Book your summer adventure

A day in the park

Our land
High Chaparral is more than just a Wild West town, it’s a whole world to explore. We call our areas “lands”: the Prairies, Texas, Old Mexico, Main Street, Dalton City, Buffalo Island, and River City. Each one has its own unique atmosphere and character.

In Old Mexico you might run into Zorro, in Dalton City you'll meet the Daltons and Lucky Luke, and on Main Street there’s always something happening, you might even witness Billy the Kid robbing the bank.

Adventure
High Chaparral is full of thrilling Wild West adventures. Take the train to Old Mexico (keep an eye out, there have been plenty of robberies lately!), pan for gold, hop aboard a paddle steamer, check out the bison, or gallop off on a hobby horse. Some adventures are included in your ticket, while others may cost a little extra.

In our mini-city, Buffalo City, it’s all about play, imagination, and adventure. Cowboys and cowgirls of all ages are guaranteed to find like-minded partners in crime to share the fun with.

When hunger strikes, you’ll find several restaurants around the park serving everything from quick bites to full à la carte meals.

Leave the Park and Return
If you wish to leave the park and come back later, be sure to get a re-entry stamp at the entrance or from the Sheriff before you go.

Dogs

Dogs
Dogs are welcome in the park as long as they are kept on a lead, do not disturb other guests, and you clean up after them.

However, dogs are not allowed in restaurants or food-serving areas. They are permitted in the camping cabins and in selected Guldby and Storstugan cabins.

For your dog’s well-being, dogs are not allowed on the train to Old Mexico, as loud bangs and sudden effects occur during the ride. The same applies to the Hunt Bandits experience in River City.

Dogs are not allowed where pyrotechnics are present, including the Wild West Stunt Show in River city, the Lucky Luke Show in Dalton city and Annie & Billy in Dalton city.

Service dogs are of course welcome throughout the park.

However, please be aware that some activities such as shows and train robberies, may include loud noises and sudden effects that can be unpleasant for dogs.
For this reason, we recommend avoiding these parts of the park if you are visiting with a service dog.
