Kverneland at one-day conference
Kverneland at a day conference in the Wild West!
Kverneland wanted a conference out of the ordinary, something that stood out and created memories. Instead of traditional conference rooms, they chose to step straight into the Wild West with us at High Chaparral. We had the great honor of welcoming Kverneland to an environment that offers just that. After an afternoon coffee, the participants gathered in the Saloon Cheyenne where everyone was equipped with a cowboy hat, a simple detail that sets the tone immediately. After the conference session, the evening continued in the saloon where refreshments and a hearty Texas ranch buffet were served. A memorable combination of business and pleasure in a unique setting!

Blåkläder conference at High Chaparral
Blåkläder took over the Wild West
When Blåkläder wanted to gather the whole team for three days of conference, adventure and cowboy feeling, at High Chaparral helped create their very own Wild West experience! With over 200 participants, the area was filled with energy, laughter, and not least the occasional train robbery.
Friday
The evening began with a walk through a lively Main Street the steam locomotive was ready for departure. During the train journey, Blåkläder was surprised by train robbers, but thanks to brave sheriffs who came to the rescue, they were able to continue! The evening continued with troubadours, Tex-Mex, and a classic duel at sunset in Mexico.
Saturday
The morning featured a breakfast buffet and an inspiring conference in Big Bengt's large hall. After lunch with freshly grilled hamburgers, the area was transformed into a wild arena for team building: fast-paced pentathlon on Main Street, clay pigeon shooting, a study visit to a sewing studio, and a risky stunt experience with the pros. Everything was rounded off with a beer break and line dancing under blue skies.
The evening's banquet dinner began with mingling and pre-drinks. At the tables, a three-course dinner was served with entertainment in three acts, where the Fitcher Sisters offered singing, show and transfer to the saloon. After dessert, the bar opened and the DJ took over at Saloon Cheyenne.
Sunday
After an intense weekend, the stay was rounded off with brunch and check-out. A complete experience that combined job satisfaction, team building, and pure entertainment in a unique environment.

Exciting news at High Chaparral this summer
As the gates open for adventurous cowboys this summer, we have two exciting new features that will delight visitors young and old. We recommend a visit to Texas to see what the mischievous Texas trio are up to. Only the bravest dare to peek into Uncle Sam’s Crooked House to see what secrets are hiding there.
Child West Show - a cozy adventure for the whole family
Texas - one of the coziest areas of the park where you can set up a picnic with a view of our mighty Texas Longhorns. This summer, our mischievous characters Huckleberry Finn, Tom Sawyer and Becky will also be back in the new family show, Child West Show. You never know what's going to happen and you never cease to be amazed when the mischievous Texas trio gets up to mischief.
Step into Uncle Sam’s Crooked House at your own risk
Up and down and everything in between. Take a trip to Main Street and visit the house where inventor Uncle Sam once lived. This summer, you and our characters will be able to test all the quirks hidden in the house. Hold on to your hats and prepare for a unique experience with lots of laughs.

High Chaparral Country Festival makes long-awaited comeback
At the end of May, High Chaparral will be transformed into a country music mecca for anyone who wants to experience both national and international country stars in a true American Wild West setting. Visitors can expect one hell of a thunderous country event that they will never forget.
On May 29, High Chaparral opens its doors for a four-day country party like no other. When the High Chaparral Country Festival returns, we have pulled out all the stops to ensure that visitors have an unforgettable experience.
- During the pandemic, we shut down all events in the park. Now we have decided to start up the event part again with the aim of making the country festival the largest country event in the Nordic region over time," says Emil Erlandsson, CEO of High Chaparral.
World-class artists
During the festival, visitors will be able to experience artists such as Jill Johnsson, Chris Kläfford and Tebey live in an authentic setting that takes you back to the American Wild West.
- "We've chosen to go for country music with a twist to reach a wider audience. There will be a lot of action under the boots.
An experience for all music lovers
Emil says that there is a huge interest and a desire for festivals like this one.
- "When we organized concerts before, country music was not so hyped. Now we have invested in a festival where not only the music is at the center. The atmosphere, the environment, the food and the activities will make the experience unique. There is something for all music lovers, not just country music fans.
