Recruitment of seasonal staff for the Wild West Park in Småland for summer 2021 is in full swing. Compared to the recruitment a year ago, the theme park has received twice as many applications.

For each summer season, High Chaparral hires a total of 350 seasonal employees. Available positions include actors, campground hosts and receptionists, sound technicians, ushers, horse grooms, paramedics, adventure staff such as train robbers and gold panning, as well as a number of retail and restaurant positions.

There has been particularly strong interest in the positions of steam engine driver and actor. Interest in working in the costume workshop, where nearly 800 individual costumes are created for each season, triples in the summer.

High Chaparral is now preparing for a similar summer with continued restrictions.

- With valuable experience from last summer, planning work is underway for this year's season with a particular focus on further reducing the risk of queuing and increasing the spread of visitors in the park, as well as further development of the park's measures linked to covid-19, says Mathias Bergendahl, CEO of High Chaparral.
