High Chaparral prepares for thousands of visitors
- There is a lot going on in the park even when it is closed. Right now we're working on an adventure golf course, a new cabin area and the expansion of Restaurant Bryggan. And in the spring we will be introducing new exciting activities to the park.
Mattias Tambour, Park Manager at High Chaparral, talks about all the construction going on in the park to prepare for next season. With high visitor numbers this summer and the success of Halloween, they feel that the park's long-term strategy of being both an amusement and theme park for families with children and a meeting place for people who like the Wild West, is just right.
- We are naturally loyal to the Wild West. It is our origin and what we are passionate about. But it should be a Wild West for the whole family.
The big changes for next year are a 9-hole adventure golf course on the campsite. They are also expanding the Restaurant Bryggan at High Chaparral's swimming lake, updating and relocating a cottage area and building a new service building. All to ensure the well-being and enjoyment of nearly 170,000 visitors.
- Visitors to Liseberg or Gröna Lund can always find accommodation. It is more difficult for our visitors. That's why we take responsibility for ensuring that they have a great stay with us outside the park area through accommodation, swimming, activities and restaurants," concludes Mattias Tambour.
