In memory of Alf Erlandsson (1954-2020)

Anyone who has ever been to High Chaparral remembers Alf Erlandsson. He was High Chaparral's and the world's most robbed bank manager. In one day he could be robbed no less than 600 times - always with a smile on his face. And that smile, open mind and warm welcome is something all of us who got to know Alf remember and will miss. As the son of the park's founder, Bengt "Big Bengt" Erlandsson, High Chaparral was close to Alf's heart. He was always the first one there in the morning, whistling a happy tune, and often he was the last to leave. Alf always went his own way, but he never got in anyone else's way. If you wanted to follow him, you were welcome to do so - Alf wanted the best for everyone. Now he has gone his own way again. Walk in peace.
