High Chaparral gears up: Wild West show and train robbery back at the Wild West park in Småland

On June 5, High Chaparral opens the doors to Sheriff Wyatt Earp's Last Hunt, a newly produced Wild West show, and the steam locomotive once again takes passengers on a journey with Sweden's only legal train robbery.

The Wild West show Sheriff Wyatt Earp's Last Hunt will be performed five times daily to a maximum audience of 500 in designated seats under modified restrictions and with separate entrances and exits to the expanded grandstand. In other theater areas, improv theater continues with Lucky Luke and the Dalton Family in Dalton City and Zorro in Old Mexico. Starting Saturday, the steam locomotive will depart continuously throughout the day with train robberies along the way.

- "We have been clear about our ambition to step up when the opportunity arises, and now we are there. The new restrictions introduced today enable us to continue to offer an exciting Wild West show in a responsible way and once again take passengers on our steam locomotive," says Mathias Bergendahl, CEO.

Interest in visiting High Chaparral this summer is very high, with a 20% increase in bookings compared to the same period in 2019.

New this year is Texas, a brand new area with three Texas Longhorns, a new café and learning activities for the whole family, several new picnic areas, a new hobby horse track and several new activities on Buffalo island.

For the summer, High Chaparral has further developed and created new comprehensive measures linked to reducing the risk of queuing and increasing the spread of visitors in the park, including digital food ordering and pre-ordering of products such as puffa, hat and sheriff's star.
