Tom Sawyer is the fastest mind west of the Mississippi River - and possibly the most resourceful too. He knows the whole world is one big adventure, and he wastes no time in dragging his friends into new follies.
Becky is the heart of the trio and the one who makes sure Tom's wild imagination doesn't take them too far. When it gets too much fun, she puts her foot down, but not too hard. After all, an adventure has to be an adventure.
Huckleberry Finn is the most down-to-earth of the three. He won't buy anything, especially when the ideas come from Tom. But a friend is a friend, and even if Huckleberry is skeptical, he goes along.
